I just read this blog post and thought you might be interested. I couldn't link to the specific post but just to the blog in general. It's written on Dec 1. It's written by a woman struggling with whether to tell her daughter that Santa isn't real. It's written from a Christian perspective and is incredibly beautiful. Take a look.

I was worried my sons would think I'd been lying to them too so from the get go we've always told the boys that Santa Claus doesn't exist. We do give gifts but it's all about Christ not about us. It has been a little tricky when people ask the boys are you excited Santa's coming soon and they just answer back that Santa doesn't really exist.☺ Glad there are others who have "shattered" the magic. No Easter Bunny comes to our house either. We did try the tooth fairy but the boys had that figured out pretty quickly.
